Momofuku Fried Chicken
I love feeling like I got a good deal on a copious amount of delicious
food. And that’s the feeling that I have every time I am lucky enough
to indulge in the Fried Chicken feast at Momofuku Noodle Bar.
Reservations are tough to come by and you must be speedy to get
them. They are available online only and need to be reserved a month ahead of
time. Everyday at 10am an extra day is added to the list.
The deal is simple: $100 for two whole fried chickens – one served Southern
Old Bay Style and one served Korean style. The fried chicken is served with
moo shoo pancakes, lettuce wraps, carrots, radishes and four different
sauces (my favorite sauce is a jalapeño vinegar sauce). This was the
second time I scheduled time at Momofuku to take part in this awesome
fried chicken dinner. I went with five friends and we had no trouble
polishing off all the chicken but none of us left hungry.
My favorite is the Southern Style. The fried chicken skin is so crisp and making a
wrap with the perfect mix of sauce, veggies, chicken and skin is
almost an art form but so satisfying! What are you waiting for, go
find some friends, make a reservation and get ready to wait a month
for some of the best fried chicken you have ever had.
Expect to hear more on Momofuku when I find enough people for their Beef 7 Ways at Ma Peche.
